Grades K-3

Explore your artistic side with Smart Start Art from Afterschool Enrichment Solutions. Learn how to draw an array of animals, from house pets to sea creatures to farm animals to jungle inhabitants! Discover your creativity and imagination as an artist, developing fine motor skills, style, and vision as we explore different artistic techniques through a variety of inspiring projects. Sketch and draw, shade and color, cut, glue, fold…create! See your imagination come to life! Learn about great artists from throughout history and the present day, through a weekly featured artist and fun, exciting games. No experience necessary.

Chess Scholars Camp

Ages 5-12

Develop your child’s intellect through the royal game of chess! Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety of areas, including mathematics and language arts. Chess has been proven to enhance children’s motivation, concentration, focus, social skills, and creativity. Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach.

Game Design Camp

Ages 8-14

Learn to create online games using popular computer gaming platforms that allow users to play with friends, create challenges, and more. This course teaches children how to create their own game on platforms like ROBLOX, Contstruct.Net, and Scratch. Students learn basic advanced coding techniques: Game design, coding concepts, graphic design, game interaction, and revenue ideas. As a result, children can publish their own game online and people can play their game!

Fiesta Time Mini Camp

Ages 4-10

Looking for something fun and educational for your child this summer? Children will decorate their very own mini piñata while singing songs in Spanish, learning Spanish words, and discovering the Mexican culture. All materials will be included.

STEAM Camp

Ages 6-12

Robotics, engineering, and coding all in one camp! Each day students will work on a STEM activity, including building and programming robots, building mechanical engineering models based on simple machines, and programming animations and games.
