Opening Up
This year we celebrate 75 years of The Bath Festival. It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride over the last few years and we have worked really hard to make sure that Bath Festivals continues to bring events that inspire, engage and entertain the people and visitors of Bath.

Our theme for this year is Opening Up. May is the perfect time for us all to be venturing out, exploring the city and connecting with others. We are proud to share with you a carefully curated literature programme of talks, workshops, performances and walks designed to encourage you to open up to new ideas, conversations and experiences. This year, our vibrant music programme focuses on bringing you a flavour of today’s most exceptional rising young talent.
Alongside many, we are facing financial challenges, but we are all very passionate about the importance of everyone being able to enjoy the arts no matter what their financial circumstances. Therefore, in addition to our free opening night, Party in the City, we are offering a new flexible pricing model to pick the price that suits your circumstances.
As a charity, we are more grateful than ever for the generous support of our volunteers, patrons, members and partners.
