James Yarker
James Yarker is Artistic Director of Stan’s Cafe, the company he co-founded in Birmingham with his friend Graeme Rose in 1991. Since then has directed most of the company’s productions and written text for them when required - on this occasion he left that job to William Shakespeare. Working at Bath Spa University has been great for James as he grew up in the city.
Craig Stephens
Craig studied theatre at Warwick and Lancaster Universities. He went on to perform with a number of UK companies touring both nationally and internationally. He first worked with Stan’s Cafe as a devisor and performer in the late 1990s, later becoming a full time company member. Since then has been at the heart of most of the company’s ctivities - working across performance, education and van driving. Alongside his work with Stan’s Cafe he occasionally gets to perform with other companies including Talking Birds and Untied Artists. Craig is also a writer and has written for amongst others; BBC Radio 4, Talking Birds, Hamfisted!, Ludlow Assembly Rooms and Lichfield Garrick Theatre. a
Michael Valentine West Composer, sound artist and musician. He has studied experimental composition and contributed works to film scores, theatre and site specific contemporary art installations. He has recorded and released a number of bodies of work and has performed live across Europe. He currently resides within the UK.

Alex Seely
Alex is a third year acting student at Bath Spa University. Her previous credits are Donalbain and the Gentle Woman from another version of Macbeth. She has recently also finished her second year at Fear, Avon Valley Scream Park, in mazes The Core and Vita Nova. She is also performing later this year in her final production within SparkFest with director Emma Earle in Women Beware the Devil.
Amye Sullivan
Amye is currently in her third and final year at Bath Spa University studying acting. Her previous work included Charity Pantomimes with Save the Children (2016-2021) and A Midsummer Nights Dream (2024) as Flute and has gained her BADC standard and is working on further weapons. She is performing in By the Bog of Cats as the Cat Woman and Ghost of you as Genevieve upcoming in SparkFest 2025.
Angelina Goosen
Angelina is a third and final-year acting student at Bath Spa University. Some of her previous credits include Cobweb from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Princess Betsy from Anna Karenina. She has gained her BADC standard as well as an introduction to some further weapons such as, knife, rapier, dagger and quarterstaff. Angelina will be performing in SparkFest 2025 and will continue her training in stage combat aiming towards being an advanced actor combatant.
Annie Skinner
Annie is a third year Acting student at Bath Spa University. Her previous credits include the Child of Macduff and the Third Apparition in another version of Macbeth performed at the Mission Theatre, performing as a scare actor in House of Clowns at FEAR Avon Valley, as well as writing and performing in a sitcom Mob Ties which will be premiered in SparkFest 2025. She is also in the early stages of developing an original actor-muso show in collaboration with her peers which will be shown in SparkFest 2025. Annie specialises in physical theatre and movement, and has achieved a Level 1 merit in stage combat with the BADC.
Chloe Moore
Chloe is in her final year of her BA Acting degree at Bath Spa University. Some of her previous credits have ranged from Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream to Angela from Like A Virgin and has recently finished a sitcom in which she co-wrote and performed in. Chloe looks forward to her upcoming show of Ella Hickson’s, Hot Mess, showing at SpakFest 2025 with three of her peers.
Demelza Burton
Demelza is a Scottish Actress in her third year of the BA (Hons) Acting degree at Bath Spa University. Her previous credits include Cecily in The Importance of Being Ernest and Abigail in The Crucible. She has recently achieved a Level 1 Stage Combat in hand-to-hand combat and rapier and daggers with the BADC. Demelza is excited about her upcoming projects in SparkFest 2025 including a self written and directed project.
Eva O’Reilly
Eva is a third year Acting student. Some of her previous credits include, Snout/Wall in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Tom Jenkins in Scrooge, Vanessa Green in Mob Ties and Nora Helmer in A Doll's House. Eva has experience in both stage and screen acting and is excited to blend them in this performance as she plays Ross and Hecate. Eva is performing as Anne Bolyen in Anne by Madeleine-Grace Brown.
Harry Pitt
Harry Pitt is a third year Acting student at Bath Spa University. His previous roles include Dylan in The Last Resort and Fleance and Messenger in a previous playing of Macbeth. Harry is excited to show the world his upcoming SparkFest production, The Effect!
Izzy Wrighton
Izzy is an actor and creative based in Bath/London. Theatre credits while training include scenes from Three Sisters (Chekhov), Hedda Gabler (Ibsen), Richard III (Shakespeare) and The Wasp (Morgan Lloyd Malcolm). She has also devised ensemble work throughout her training and is excited to perform in SparkFest 2025.
Joe Manasse
Joe is a third year Acting student at Bath Spa University. He was last seen on stage as Duncan in a production of Macbeth that was part of the SparkFest 2024. As well as this, he is playing the part of Theo in the short film Witch, which is set to premiere at SparkFest 2025. He will also be performing in a never-before-seen play, A Debt for Odette, playing the part of Anthony, and in an untitled musical, where he will display his ActorMuso abilities. Both of these stage productions will take place in SparkFest 2025.
Joe Peterson
Joe Peterson is third year Acting student at Bath Spa University. His previous acting credits include Macduff in a previous version of Macbeth and he is currently set to star in a sitcom named Mobties, which he wrote and will be debuting in SparkFest 2025. He is also currently working on a couple of other productions which will debut in the summer, collaborating with his peers on Anne and Ghost Of You, both plays that will be performed in SparkFest 2025.
Madeleine-Grace Brown
Madeleine is in her third year of Actor training at Bath Spa University. Her previous credits include Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Sophie in the pilot episode of Mob Ties and is now working on a play of her own creation based on Anne Boleyn as well as making her directorial debut, which will be featured in SparkFest. Recently, she attained her BADC Stage Combat qualification in hand-to-hand combat, rapier and daggers. She is looking forward to graduating this year with a BA (Hons) in Acting and is looking forward to her future projects.
Nathan Hollis
Nathan is a third-year Acting student at Bath Spa University. He recently played Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and worked as a scare actor in The Core Maze at FEAR, Avon Valley Scream Park. This year, he will be performing in SparkFest.
Rhianna Cromwell
Rhianna is a final year BA (Hons) Acting student at Bath Spa University. Her previous credits include Philostrate in A Midsummer Night's Dream, the comedic role of Pam in Life Beyond the Pages and Lucy in the reimagined audio drama Mother Figure. She has achieved BADC Stage Combat qualifications in knife, longsword, unarmed, rapier and dagger. Rhianna is excited for her upcoming projects, including the lead role of Sam in the short film Dsyfunctional, highlighting the dangers of spiking, as well as a new period drama show she is writing based on Pride and Prejudice to be performed at SparkFest.
Zac Whittaker
Zac is a third year Acting student at Bath Spa University. His previous credits include Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Monty in The Last Resort which is a sitcom in collaboration with Bath Spa Productions and the Film and TV course at Bath Spa University which is due to premiere at SparkFest in 2025. He is also in the early stages of producing a play which is also set to premiere at SparkFest this year.

Meg Ellison - Production/Stage Manager
From appearing on Jools Holland’s Hootenanny with Sister Sledge to single handedly setting up a television shoot for Dame Judi Dench, Meg is never one to shy away from an exciting challenge - and that’s exactly what this production has been! Combining her love for both stage and screen, this has been a wonderful project for Meg to exhibit her skills as both Production and Stage Manager. Recent credits include Production Manager for The Gut Girls (2024) and Production Management Assistant/Production Coordinator for BBC1’s Countryfile (2022-2024). Meg has also been touring the world as a valued member of Sister Sledge’s production team since she graduated in 2019, covering ground from Miami to Singapore and performing at private events for Hugo Boss, Piaget and Soho House. Like many of her fellow colleagues in the technical team, Meg is also a Bath Spa Uni alumni, who studied Theatre Production (specialising in Production Management). She has throughly enjoyed working with Stan’s Cafe on this adaptation of Macbeth and is excited about what the future holds!
Bryony Morgan - Assistant Director
Bryony studied Film Production at University for the Creative Arts. Since graduating they have worked on both screen and stage productions. In January 2025, Bryony associate directed a monologue showcase titled Unspoken for Bath Spa Productions. Bryony is currently studying on the MA Directing pathway at Bath Spa University. This production is their first time working as Assistant Director.
Fuchsia Oades - Costume Designer
Fuchsia is a recent graduate of Theatre Festival and Event Production, specialising in Costume. She is very excited to be the Costume Designer on this Production of Macbeth, with previous work on Skunk as Senior Costume Maker, Costume Assistant on The Cornershop Goblin. She has worked on Sister Act & Rocky Horror Picture Show at Bath Theatre Royal as a Dresser. Find her @fuchsiasworkshop on Instagram to follow more of her work. She hopes you enjoy the show.
Em Noon - Costume Supervisor
Em is a graduate of Theatre, Festival and Event Production at Bath Spa University, having specialised in costume and prop making, and is now working as a costume and wardrobe professional in the theatre industry. Recent credits include Wardrobe Assistant on the ‘Wicked’ UK and Ireland tour, and Dresser on the touring production of ‘Hamilton’. Em is excited to be rejoining Bath Spa Productions as Costume Supervisor, having previously worked as Costume Designer on ‘The Cornershop Goblin’ and Set Designer on ‘Habeas Corpus’ whilst studying. Megan Ellis - Sound Designer
Meg is a third-year student on the Theatre, Festival & Event Production course, specialising in sound and stage management. This is Meg's first Sound Designer role, but she has previously worked as a Sound Operator on Skunk (2024). Further previous roles include Assistant Stage Manager on Pool (No Water) (2023), Assistant Stage Manager on Third Space 2024 (2024), Event Assistant at Bearded Kitten (2024), & Production Assistant at Arcadia Spectacular at Glastonbury Festival (2024). Lily Jack - Deputy Stage Manager
Lily is a Bath Spa University graduate, specialising in Stage and Event Management, with additional expertise in stage design and prop making. Since completing her studies, she has worked with the Props department at Theatre Royal Bath on various touring productions, as well as serving as Assistant Stage Manager for Arcadia Spectacular at Glastonbury and Valley Fest, and other festivals. Lily is currently the Event Manager for 7 Hills, a live music organisation in Bath. This is Lily’s second Deputy Stage Manager role, following her work on All’s Well That Ends Well, directed by Fi Ross as part of Bath Spa Productions. Abby Coombs - Lighting Operator
Abby is a third year Theatre, Festival and Events Production student, specialising in Lighting and Stage Management. This is her second lighting op role, in addition to a number of other roles with Bath Spa Productions, including Designer/Technician for Lung Water (2024), and Stage Manager for Stage Death at the Rondo this March.
William Margetts - Sound Operator
Will is a second-year on the Theatre, Festival and Event Production course, specialising in Lighting and Sound. This is his first Sound Operator role, and will go on to operate the sound for a number of Bath Spa Productions this year (Stage Death - February - and Woman Beware The Devil - June). He will also be taking on a Production Electrician role for Third Space 2025 in May.
Harry Evans - Sound Operator
Harry is a third-year student on the Theatre, Festival and Event Production course, specialising in Sound and Construction. This will be his second Sound Operator role. He has previously worked as a Sound Operator on Third Space (2024) as well as a Head of Construction on The Gut Girls (2024), Construction Assistant on All's Well That Ends Well (2024) and Hayfever (2024) as well as Assistant Sound Engineer for Marshfest (2024)
