musical theatre showcase Bath Spa University Theatre
14th December 2023
welcome! We’re so delighted that you’ve joined us for this Musical Theatre Showcase, featuring our final year Musical Theatre students. Tonight’s performance represents the culmination of three years of Musical Theatre study, in which our students have developed their performance skills, alongside in-depth investigation of the historical, cultural and sociological aspects of the genre, and explorations into new musical theatre writing. They’ve worked incredibly hard, being inquisitive and adventurous in their desire to take on new challenges and find new repertoire. We’re incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved. As they prepare to graduate and move into their futures, we wish each one ‘all the best’, and hope that you enjoy this great celebration of their achievements. Have a wonderful evening!
