How to...make your characters three-dimensional! You know when someone tells you, ‘Oh, so-and-so’s a real character’ – well, that’s what we’ll be thinking about today. Memorable, write-home-about people we meet or encounter in life, however fleetingly, make an impression and leave a mark. But how do you make your primary and secondary characters, from your protagonist to their orbiting cast, feel like real characters?

Writing for Television

We are living in the so-called Golden Age of Television, with more choice or ‘content’ than ever before. In this scriptwriting workshop we will cover TV writing, from character to structure, outlines to specs and how the industry works – and we will also make time to work on your very own script!.

Breaking Conventions

Literature is diverse and so are our own responses.
