campus
Food and drink are available in the Locksbrook Cafe. We offer vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options. A choice of confectionary, cakes, muffins and traybakes is also available, including our delicious pastries.

Whether you want to live in the bustling city centre or out in the rolling countryside, we offer a wide range of accommodation options to suit your needs. En-suite bathroom? Accessible space? On campus location? We’ve got you covered.

Accommodation is open at today's offer holder day. Head to Twerton Mill or Charlton Court to see some of the rooms available, only a short walk from campus.

Starting a degree may be a big investment, but the rewards last a lifetime. When it comes to funding your studies, Bath Spa has plenty of support in place to make sure you feel secure with your finances.
WHAT DO YOU PAY FOR?
• Tuition Fees (generally £9,250 a year)
This can be loaned from Student Finance England (SFE). To qualify for student finance for the 2024/2025 academic year, we strongly recommend that students apply no later than May 2024. Please note, fees may be subject to change, and we encourage you to check the gov.uk website regularly for updates.
• Living Costs
These include paying for accommodation, groceries, going out and so on. You can apply for a maintenance loan from SFE to help with these costs.
• Course Costs
Your course may incur additional fees in the form of art materials, field trips and specialist equipment. For more details on this, please check your course page on our website.

Supporting you Your Students' Union
Student Wellbeing Services are here for you. You can access professional advice, guidance and resources 24/7 at Bath Spa to help with any concerns that you may have, with support around accessibility, disability, general wellbeing, and physical or mental health.
ACCESSIBILITY AND DISABILITY
We provide information, guidance, advice and practical support to students who identify as disabled and neurodiverse, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism spectrum, mental ill-health, medical conditions and sensory or mobility impairments.
MEDICAL SERVICES AND MENTAL HEALTH
As a student, you can register with the University Medical Service and access it all year round. Our professional practitioners can also provide a range of interventions to enable the mental health of Bath Spa students.
WELLBEING AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Our Wellbeing Advisors offer non-clinical advice and practical guidance to coordinate the right support to suit your needs. They can also provide financial advice, including ensuring that you are able to access your full entitlement to student finance, and guidance if you are struggling with your personal finances.
SUPPORT FOR TRANS* AND NON-BINARY STUDENTS
Student Wellbeing Services provide a range of support for trans* and non-binary students, or any students who may be questioning their gender identity. We'll help you find your feet in a new environment, by providing support, guidance and care, and allowing you to express your identity however you wish.
ACADEMIC ADVICE
Based in Commons, the Academic Skills team (ASk) are here to help students in their academic pursuits. Each student at Bath Spa is also assigned an Academic Advisor upon their enrolment to support their academic and professional development at university.

Your Students’ Union (SU) is here to represent you and your views, and to ensure that you have a positive and valuable experience at university. It can help you with your studies, meeting new friends, prepare you for the world of work and make your voice heard.
From Welcome Week to the end-of-year Summer Ball, the SU runs a year-round programme of events, so there’s always something fun to do!
FACILITIES
The SU building at Newton Park holds the Bar and Kitchen, which serves hot, cold and alcoholic drinks. It’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon studying with your course-mates or unwind in the evening with friends. Just next door, the SU Shop is open seven days a week with all the student essentials to keep you going. Upstairs, you’ll find the SU Gym, which offers over 40 stations with free weights, cardio machines and training zones, and has affordable memberships.
STUDENTS’ UNION ADVICE CENTRE
The SU Advice Centre can help you with a variety of issues you may be facing during your time at university. They provide free, non-judgemental and confidential advice to all Bath Spa students, and are readily available to support you with anything that you may need
CLUBS AND SOCIETIES
There are endless opportunities to have fun and meet new people at Bath Spa. The SU boasts over 70 clubs and societies to its name, and there truly is something for everyone. If you can’t find one you want to join, you can always start your own! SUSTAINABILITY
We take our responsibility to protect and care for our people and planet seriously and are committed to making the world a better place, one student at a time. Over the last 10 years, we’ve reduced our carbon emissions by over 60% per m2, and increased recycling to 80% of all waste. In 2023, we were awarded a Gold Accreditation as a Hedgehog Friendly Campus, and in 2022 received a 1st Class Award from the People and Planet University League Table for our environmental efforts.
ADOBE CREATIVE CAMPUS
As an Adobe Creative Campus, when you join, you’ll be given access to the suite of Adobe programmes to use for your studies and personal use. This enables students to add creative value to their projects and learn important skills to prepare you for the world of work.
