Background
The main idea for the project is to rethink the office building as a place that promotes efficient work but also as a place for public interaction by creating an inspirational workplace with vibrant and openable facilities.
Design Approach
• Outstanding building to represent an image of the company forward thinking. • Building activates the use of public space as a fresh breeze for the surrounding. • Giving people a plot of land in Red Bull site in reflection of the company’s vision.
Concept Development
Site Challenge: The residential area in Sitra was close to the sea however it has been reclaimed and replaced by industrial area. The result is an Island without adequate public spaces.

Background
Design Approach
Edamah, the main government holding company, commissioned this project to design an urban development containing a plaza, a bus station, a 4 star hotel and waterfront restaurants.. Since the site is located at a walking distance to the pearl path, it was intended to create an urban pedestrian link to experience old Muharraq. To understand the transition in lifestyle between the seasons:

Background
In continuation of the pearl path project, BACA’s vision includes a remarkable visitors center that would host: exhibitions, workshop, a café and an experience room. The building is the entry point to the path.
Design Approach
• Creating a public pathway that preserve the vitality of the existing area. • Creating a simulation room to revive and celebrate the history of pearl divers. • Introducing public spaces that encourage and nurture social gatherings.

Background
The Proposed project is a vertical housing located on a reclaimed land between Karbabad and Seef area. The project consist of: apartments, residence parking and public facilities.
Design Approach
• Since the site is located between Seef Area (commercial hub) and Karbabad (residential village) acting as a transition point. The main idea of the project is to complement the surrounding urban fabric by reflecting the story of the site and creating a unique building. • Creating defined edges for each apartment to bring the feeling of individuality for the users as well as allowing them to recognize their owns vertical property. • Orienting the building to maximize the privacy of each apartment.

Housing Project Landscape In the semester that followed the housing project, the landscape module focused on developing a selected previous housing project in a group work landscape assignment. The brief was to design public gathering spaces to engage residents in social activities that would enhance their living experience.

Bookshop and Café This project is inspired by the most quoted Richard Pecks’s “I read because one life is not enough”. In celebration of our eternal desire to mind travel, the fluid floor plan design of the reading and café zones reflect the transitioning state of being through reading.
