We liked three things aboutGattaca 2020: design, innovation, and price. Firstoff, the bat consists ofa hybrid two-piece design thatuses manyofthe elements found in the beloved DeMarini Voodoo. Second, the aluminum barrel technologyimproves performance in a BBCOR environmentwhere a lotofmanufacturers have been stuckto the limit. And finally, while more costlyin the BBCORspace than the typical two-piece performance combination, the Gattaca has a fairprice point—DeMarini isn'texpecting to recapture all oftheirR&D on the bat's first run.
