High efficiency condensing systems

Efficiency under control Baxi present in the heating and in the DHW sector since 30 years, is one of the most advanced companies offering high technological heating solutions. Baxi has developed a wide range of wall hung and floor standing condensing boilers, a result of the perfect combination of leading edge technologies and high efficiency.

Condensing boilers cascade systems Baxi condensing boilers, Luna3 System HT, Luna HT and Power HT are ideal for cascade installations: thanks to the sophisticated electronics (Advanced CPS System) up to 12 boilers (Luna HT, Power HT) can be installed just by connecting the relevant accessories to the boiler’s electronics. The complete range of accessories enables Baxi to offer solutions reaching up to 1.800 kW. The new cabinets with 2 or 3 doors, offer with Luna HT solutions reaching 600 kW (2 cabinets with 3 doors 3x100 kW).

Leading edge heating technology Training is a crucial issue for high efficiency appliances and Baxi invests consistently in providing detailed technical data and hands-on educational courses. The newly developed Baxi Training Centre welcomes several thousand people every year granting a 360° technical information.

Condensing technology is the latest face in boiler innovation. By employing pre-mix burner know how, condensing boilers ensure higher performance (efficiency up to 109,8%) thanks to the recovery of all the heat available through combustion without wasting energy into the air, as happens with traditional boilers.

High efficiency condensing systems High efficiency installations Baxi condensing systems represent the ideal solution for installations where high outputs are required. The electronics platform of these boilers allows the control of single and cascade installations and a complete range of thermoregulation accessories. It is therefore possible to have high energetic efficiency system ensuring low emissions and meeting any domestic comfort needs, total control, DHW at the right comfort level always in the maximum respect of the environment.

High output systems Baxi has developed high efficiency condensing systems to guarantee the greatest reliability: the stainless steel exchanger, made through high technology processes, has compact dimensions but is highly performing and therefore it’s synonymous of durability and resistance against corrosion.

Compact weight and dimensions Compact weight and dimensions of Baxi high efficiency condensing systems, guarantee the maximum flexibility and allow their installation also in small heat generator rooms.

Baxi high efficiency condensing systems are available in a wide range of outputs from 16,9 to 150 kW, to satisfy every installation need (wall hung and floor standing).

Luna HT models installed in cabinets made of 2 or 3 doors are suitable for outdoor installation, satisfy outputs from 45 kW (1 cabinet with 2 doors 1x45 kW) to 600 kW (2 cabinets with 3 doors 3x100kw) 7


Control, programming and setting: Advanced Cps System Luna HT and Power HT ranges are provided with a fully digital control panel: dedicated push-buttons for each single function and wide LCD display combining symbols and codes for information about the boiler is working allowing an easy reading and an immediate parameter control, programming and setting. • Microprocessor with double CPU: a new technology software for the boiler optimal operation • Built-in daily timer to program both central heating and DHW functions • Programmable pre-heating function of the DHW circuit to reduce waiting times • Digital electronic thermometer • Self-check: detection and description of any possible fault • Built-in climatic regulation (outdoor sensor supplied as optional) • Automatic summer/winter switch with outdoor sensor connected • Cascade system installation option • Mixed systems (high and low temperature) installations option • Interface PCB, available as optional, connectable for supplementary functions such as remote control of fault/operation signals, control of additional pumps, control of boiler output by an external electronic device, etc.

Baxi condensing solutions To satisfy any installation requirement, high efficiency condensing systems are equipped with a complete range of thermoregulation accessories.

RVA 47 Temperature regulator for mixing cascade systems, allows up to 12 boilers connection ensuring functioning and efficiency optimization: - control of DHW production option - heating system efficiency optimization - integration with domestic programming/setting of outdoor systems option - able to provide all the output required by the system (antifrost, overheating temperature, etc)

AGU 2.500 In case of single installation, this accessory, can be installed directly into the boiler control panel, and allows the operation in mixed systems with high and a low temperature zone.

OCI 420 In case of single installation, this accessory, can be installed directly into the boiler control panel and allows data exchange between the electronics and the temperature regulator as RVA 46 and RVA 47.

RVA 46 Climatic regulator and controller of a low temperature zone to be used in heating systems that require the operation of a climatic independent zone from the system by the control of the zone pump, the mixing valve and a temperature sensor: - room comfort regulation on the basis of the external climatic conditions and the building insulation option - integration with domestic programming/setting of outdoor systems option - able to provide all the output required by the system

QAA 73 Climatic regulator and multi-function digital remote control to manage one or two heating zones and the sanitary comfort. QAA73 calculates the requested temperature on the basis of the data communicated by the boiler (external temperature and others parameters) and of the room temperature detected and transmitted to the PCB by bus.

High efficiency condensing systems Integrated and compact system by Baxi for centralized, commercial installations and buildings Baxi has developed cabinets where Luna HT boilers can be installed to have high performance (efficiency up to 109,8%) and low pollutant emissions. The range of Baxi cabinets allows solutions up to 3 doors, from 45 kW (1 cabinet with 2 doors 1x45 kW) to 600 kW ( 2 cabinets with 3 doors 3x100 kW).
