Luna3 Comfort HT

Baxi has implemented Luna3 Comfort range with Luna3 Comfort HT new condensing boilers, provided with a remote control panel (wire connection) that, in addition to an easy setting and an immediate diagnostics, enables you to easily interact with the boiler. HT boilers use the new condensing technology recovering almost all the heat available through the combustion without wasting energy into the air. The programmable thermoregulation interface, supplied with the boiler, has a modulating regulation that guarantees the maximum efďŹ ciency in the boiler’s operation and consequently a considerable reduction of consumptions.

Condensing technology Condensing technology is the latest face in boiler innovation. By employing pre-mixing burner know how, condensing boilers ensure higher performance: almost all the heat available through combustion is recovered without wasting energy into the air, as happens with traditional boilers.

Luna3 Comfort HT Environmentally friendly Condensing pre-mixing boilers are synonymous with energy savings and reduced emissions. Used in low temperature systems, condensing boilers tipically facilitate a cutback of 35% in gas expenditure. Their ability to signiďŹ cantly reduce noxious gases (up to 80% of NOx and 90% of CO) also makes condensing boilers environmentally friendly thanks to the use of pre-mix burners. NOx and CO are pollutants that have an adverse impact on the environment (e.g. acid rain), and Baxi is continually researching new environmentally sustainable solutions.

Comfort right at your ďŹ ngertips The remote control panel, supplied with Luna3 Comfort HT, guarantees a complete comfort managing. The interaction with the boiler is easier thanks to the information clearly displayed in the wide LCD and dedicated push-buttons for the heating and DHW temperature regulation. The panel works also as modulating room thermostat and is provided with a 2 levels weekly timer.

MODULATION RATIO 1÷5 FOR

Wide modulation ratio Luna3 Comfort HT is provided with a wide modulation ratio (1÷6) to cut down the number of repeated boiler’s switching on/off thanks to reduced minimum output: besides a better boiler working you will obtain lower consumptions and lower gas expenditures.

This feature is profitable also in integrated systems (instantaneous boiler combined with solar system): regular working of the boiler ensures hot water and comfort.

Luna3 Comfort HT is quiet in all operation phases thanks to the soundproofing of the combustion chamber and to the special components.

In Luna3 Comfort HT the pre-heating function can be selected: after any hot water demand, the boiler keeps the primary circuit in temperature so that the following hot water demand will have the desired temperature immediately. This function will deactivate automatically after 60’ of no water demand to contain energy consumption. For heating only models, it is possible to easily connect and control an external cylinder thanks to the built-in 3 way electric valve.

Luna3 Comfort HT has a built-in weather compensation function (outdoor sensor available as option) to adjust the heating flow temperature according to the external temperature.

The electronics of Luna3 Comfort HT enables to manage also low temperature systems. For mixed systems you can use the Baxi Mixed System Kit available as option.

Combi models are designed to be easily connected to Baxi integrated solar systems. For the installation, please follow the instruction manual.

Remote control panel: immediate control and diagnostics The new generation of Baxi condensing boilers is supplied with a wide control panel (with a LCD display and wire connection) to guarantee the remote managing of the boiler. Special function Directly from the control panel the user can activate the SHOWER SETTING, temporarily modifying the domestic hot water temperature, that in a second time will return to the previously set temperature.

• All boiler’s parameters setting and display: room temperature, heating flow, climatic curve and DHW temperature setting, heating and DHW set temperature, outdoor temperature display (if the outdoor sensor is connected), level of modulation, hot water flow rate. • Self-check and recording of the latest anomalies. • Control of the remote control’s zone valve through the boiler’s electronics. • Built-in weather compensation function. When the external sensor is connected (available as option), the electronics selects automatically the more suitable climatic curve, adapting the heating flow temperature according to the external temperature and room temperature. • Central heating mode: 2 levels weekly timer (comfort/economy); the boilers’ functioning settings can be done for single days or for groups of days. • DHW mode: 4 levels daily timer (heating only versions with indirect cylinder connected). • Temporary central heating function selection: possible forcing of the programs for temporary functioning (i.e. holiday, presence setting). • Pre-heating function: after any hot water demand, the boiler keeps the primary circuit in temperature so that the following hot water demands will have the desired temperature immediately.
