Features

Fixing systems

Baxi has always been active in the development of solutions which ensure the maximum high energy efficiency and environmental respect, now presents the new range of solar collectors developed according to EN 12975 and recognized by the quality mark SOLAR KEYMARK

The new range of collectors is distinguished by:

For the new range of solar collectors, Baxi offers different types of fixing systems according to the type of installation, both on a pitched roof and on a flat roof. The BAXI fixing systems are designed according to UNI EN 1991-1 the technical norm defining the loads on buildings due to the wind speed and the snow loads.

The fixing system for a flat roof allows an adjustment on the angle from 20° to 55° and has: • Frame with “A” shape • Diagonal tie rods to increase the stability • Back uprights to adjust the height and the angle to make the required slope

• Wide range: collectors from 2 to 2,5 m2 for horizontal or vertical installation • Installation flexibility: the collectors can be installed in the roof ( built-in installation) or on tiles • Easy and quick installation: in case you have a pitched roof, the installation of any collector is easy as there is a unique accessory that can be used for any slope of the roof and for any height of the tiles • Enhanced reliability to face bad weather conditions: the glass is fixed on a groove with gasket, no cracks in the angles • High performance: increased absorbing surface- smaller frame • Reflection free glass on SB25 models • Meander pipes : for a better heat transmission that means high efficiency. This kind of structure allows a bigger installation flexibility with many collectors in a row • Easy and quick hydraulic connections, with 4 joints for each collector to optimize the hydraulic connection and to allow the installation of many collectors in a row • Reduced load losses • 40 mm distance between the collectors: connections with a wrinkled pipe to absorb expansions and tolerances of the installation • Design: the collectors have been developed with a particular attention to the design: all the devices for the connection can not be seen from outside; an elegant aesthetics suitable for any kind of roof; the same colour for the profile and the covering
