lot 1 Th e U lt i m at e B ac k ya r d For over 25 years, Barbara Butler has specialized in the design and construction of custom, site-specific, artistic play structures. Barbara’s philosophy: Create a great backyard play structure that’s an outdoor playroom. Make it beautiful to look at and strong enough for the whole family to play on it. Spark the imagination and encourage kids to turn off the TV and computer, and go outside to play! Now is your chance to work with Barbara on a play structure custom designed for your kids and your yard. Add to this a set of Imagination Playground “big blue blocks.” Using Imagination Playground blocks, kids build a new world every day. They make objects like animals, rocket ships and robots. Most importantly, they make the rules. Because Imagination Playground is child-directed and open-ended, it encourages self-expression through deep, joyful play… right in your backyard. Once your beautiful play structure is complete enjoy a family portrait session in your new backyard with acclaimed Bay Area Photographer, Eric Schumacher. lot 5 C o m e F ly Wi t h M e This is a dream package for an aviation enthusiast! If you have ever wanted to pilot a jet or take a private VIP tour of the Boeing factory, this is your chance. Alaska Airlines has donated 90 minutes in their full-motion professional 737 Boeing Flight Simulator* to two people (one “Captain” and one “Co-Pilot”). While in the “Sim” — a fully-enclosed cockpit — the Head of Training at Alaska will instruct the couple in takeoffs, approaches, landings, emergency maneuvers or simply blue-sky cruising — the sky is literally the limit. For the Sim training, you and your Co-Pilot will be flown to Seattle using two round-trip economy tickets with no blackouts. Once in Seattle you’ll be treated to a 3-night stay in an Executive Suite at the Alexis in downtown Seattle, a luxury boutique Kimpton Hotel near Pike’s Place Market and the Waterfront. You and a guest will dine at the high-end Canlis Restaurant in your own private top-floor room “The Cache,” and amuse yourself during your Seattle visit with a private tour and all-day passes at the gorgeous Museum of Flight and VIP private tour of Boeing’s factory and newest planes. Generously donated by: Alaska Airlines, Boeing, Museum of Flight, Alexis Hotel, Canlis Restaurant, Museum of Flight and Adrianne Yamaki & Richard Sanders
*You do not need to hold a pilot’s license to fly the simulator. Because Alaska Airlines trains pilots on the 737 Boeing Simulator 24 hours a day due to high cost of operation, donors cannot select time of day of their session, which may be between midnight and 6am (just like real pilots!) For Boeing tour, all participants must be over 12 years of age. There is no age limit for the simulator.
