Bayside Academy is the perfect place for your child to enjoy summer! Bayside’s 2025 summer programs offer a wide variety of options that will keep campers entertained and engaged.

Registration is available online only on Monday, February 17 to Bayside Academy students and Monday, March 10 to the general public. Registration grade indicates the camper’s grade for the 2025-2026 school year. Bayside Academy reserves the right to change the details of any camp/program. We are committed to our campers having a safe, healthy, and fun- lled summer.

Girls Soccer Camp $125

This camp will give all girls, regardless of level, the opportunity to enjoy the sport while developing individual and team skills. Each day will focus on a di erent topic, including passing, shooting, dribbling, and long ball control as well as life skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. Girls will make new friendships while acquiring a love for the game!

Top Gun Basketball Shooting Camp $100

This camp is for anyone looking to improve their basketball shot. The Bayside basketball sta and players will assist players in developing an easy, repeatable shooting motion. We believe basketball is more fun when you can consistently hit the 3-point shot. Towards that end, we will impart the skills and techniques necessary for your child to increase their shooting-range AND con dence. Boys and Girls welcome!

This camp provides all boys, regardless of skill level or age, the opportunity to enjoy the sport while developing individual team skills. The camp stresses the love of the game and will concentrate on fundamental skills.

Camp will consist of small sided 4v4 Futsal games. Futsal develops individual player pro ciency while promoting teamwork as players work together to solve problems.

Track & Field Camp $160

All aspects of track and eld will be covered during this camp. Campers will learn drills of various eld events and hurdles, including long and triple jump, high jump, shot put, discus and turbo javelin. Participants will run various distances throughout each session and conclude each day with a fun camp activity.

Baseball Indoor Hitting Camp $100

The camp will emphasize the fundamentals of hitting within the game of baseball. Campers will have opportunities to use their new skills during the camp and will be taught techniques they can practice and use on their own.

Pickleball Camp is designed for beginner to intermediate level players. Campers will learn the fundamentals, play games and have fun. Good sportsmanship will be emphasized. Camp will be held at Lott Park.

Wrestling Camp $140

Campers will learn the fundamentals of wrestling skills as they develop self-con dence, self-discipline and physical tness. They will go through rules, techniques, and basic level tumbling to expand upon in future wrestling endeavors.

Queens of the Court Basketball Camp $120

Girls will be introduced to the fun and fast paced game of basketball! Camp will cover the fundamentals of basketball in a positive and supportive environment. Queens of the Court Camp will focus on building con dence, teamwork and good sportsmanship while using age-appropriate drills and games to teach the basics of the sport. Come join our coaches and current Bayside players for this time of empowerment, encouragement, friendship, and basketball!

Volleyball Camp $160

Learn to play THE ADMIRAL WAY! Bayside Basketball believes in a fun, fast-paced style of play. We like to run, shoot the 3, and attack the rim. Our players will be highly-skilled, tough, and well-versed in situational play. This camp emphasizes the fundamentals of shooting, passing, ball-handling, team defense, and character. Our goal is to give your child a framework for basketball success throughout the year.

Summer Sure is Sweet! Sculpture Camp $225

Campers will be satisfying their sweet tooth as they explore and create summer's sweetest treats. Participants will create fabulous 3-D fruit art, jumbo paper-mache ice cream cones, a slice of birthday cake, and plaster donuts that are pretty enough to eat and oh SO SWEET!

Creative Construction! Mixed Media Camp $225

This week of camp is all about exploring the world of sculpture, creating sculpture and using many di erent materials and mediums. Campers will develop skills in creating, form, balance, and texture and a deeper understanding of the process of sculpture. Each student will complete 3 mixed media works and masterpieces! Sculptures may include a large vase lled with everlasting oral, a large angel Christmas tree topper, and possibly a wooden school of sh, sea shells or coral reef.

Campers will unwind, refresh and discover the joy of self-care! This camp is designed to help campers explore the art of relaxation and self-care with hands-on activities that promote wellness and mindfulness. From creating personal face masks and learning nail care basics to trying yoga and meditation, each day brings a new way to unwind while forming new friendships in a serene, supportive environment. Join this camp to relax, recharge, and leave feeling radiant inside and out!

Puppeteering is becoming a strong force in live theatre. Campers will learn about the di erent styles of puppetry, such as hand-and-rod, shadow, and Bunraku. Students will write their own performance pieces and even make some of their own puppets. If you have ever wanted to be a puppeteer, this is your opportunity to explore the art. The camp will culminate with a presentation on the nal day.

BROS Camp Building Relationships Over Summer $225

Campers will learn about the elements of a graphic novel through reading several examples of comic books, graphic novels, and researching many famous graphic authors. Participants will learn how to create and sketch their own interesting characters, develop the plot of a story, and add pictures to enhance their narrative. At the end, students will have written and illustrated their very own short comic book!

Join Mrs. Davis for a spell binging adventure. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of magic inspired by Harry Potter during this camp. From crafting your own wand and brewing colorful potions to learning basics of “spell casting” and playing an exciting round of Muggle Quidditch, each day is packed with magical activities and games!

Rockets, Collisions & More! Camp $225

Campers will build and launch various rockets. Each student will be able to keep their created rocket. Students will participate in investigative labs and discovery activities in which they will collect and analyze date on topics including: apparent weight, position vs time, velocity vs time, acceleration due to gravity, projectile motion and collisions. Our goal is to have FUN while learning more about physics.

Campers should get ready for a mouth-watering journey into the magical world of candy chemistry. If you have a sweet tooth for science, this camp is perfect for you! The Candy Chemistry campers will blend the sweetness of candy with the excitement of chemistry by being encouraged to make hypotheses, record observations, and draw conclusions to foster scienti c thinking.

Paper Pioneers: Build, Test, Create $225

Campers will design, create, and innovate! During this hands-on STEM camp, participants will unleash their creativity by constructing 3D paper structures like marble runs, houses and bridges. They will dive into the principles of engineering as they explore how design and construction comes to life. From testing paper strength to tinkering with unique solutions, this camp will have students thinking outside the box by learning from mistakes and building amazing creations- onefold, cut and tape at a time!

Students will learn the basics of programming by guiding Dash through fun challenges, obstacle courses, and interactive games. Campers will dive into an Under the Sea Adventure when they explore the wonders of the ocean and discover sea creatures, mysterious coral reefs and hidden treasures. Days will be lled with diving into hands-on crafts, splashy water games, and creative play as they become sea animals, pirates, or mermaids! Campers should be ready to grab their snorkels and prepare for an unforgettable adventure as they go on mini treasure hunts and participate in fun activities that bring the magic of the sea to life!

Slime Camp $250

Campers will be learning all about di erent types of slime! Participants will develop an understanding of the chemical reaction behind slime and other substances. Each day they will learn how to make a new type of slime, playdough, or even oobleck! At the end of the week, campers will develop their own slime recipe book and customizable slime.

Pirate Camp $225

Savannah Asmus Ahoy, Matey! Campers will “hoist the colors” as they sail the seas and explore tales of pirates, walk the plank, and search for hidden treasure!

Fishing Rod Building Camp $255

This camp is designed for young anglers who love to sh! Campers will start their week with a berglass blank pole and end the week with their very own custom-made shing rod! The will learn rod building techniques, shing tips and how to tie multiple shing knots. All materials will be included.

Animals is Action Camp $225

Children will explore the animal kingdom, learning about a variety of animals—from furry forest friends to creatures of the deep sea! Each week, campers will dive into animal-themed art, whip up tasty animal-inspired snacks, and read awesome animal stories. It's the perfect time for little animal lovers to discover, create, and have fun while learning all about the amazing creatures that share our world!

Campers will have the opportunity to improve their chess skills. Beginners are welcome to join. Participants will be divided by skill level. Focus will be placed on preparing students for tournament competition.

This camp is an opportunity for students to increase their math skills in preparation for the coming year. The session will jump-start the brain and shake o the summer slump!

Law & Order Camp $185

June 2-6 | 9 AM-12 PM | Grades 8 & 9

William Hester

Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a mock-trial as attorneys, witnesses or judges. Students will learn aspects of a trial, such as opening and closing statements, direct and cross examination, and rules of evidence. Each day students will learn a di erent aspect of the court case before putting on the mock-trial at the end of the week!

ACT Prep Course $280

June 2-5 | 9:30 AM-12:15 PM | Grades 10-12

This course will prepare students to attack the ACT with strategies, enhanced subject understanding, and focus. English and reading instruction will be provided by Katie Ray, and Hillary Lee will provide instruction on math and science which includes graph and chart understanding. Space is limited.

Drivers Education $405

Driving time will be held Monday through Friday as required by the course. E orts will be made to accommodate student/family schedules. There will be 2.5 hours of written homework during the week and a written test on Tuesday. Information will be emailed to participants prior to the scheduled week.

Power Up! $200

School will begin before we know it! The following grade-level camps led by Bayside teachers will give campers an opportunity to gather with old and new Admiral friends while they explore, investigate, and create together!
