Free event Author book reading
What do we say? Join local author, Michele McNamara who will read her book What do we say? A short activity will follow the reading. Learning manners can be challenging for children and teaching manners can be equally challenging for parents. “What do we say?” takes the reader through the ups and downs of daily life and presents a way for both children and parents to remember and practise their manners. What do we say? points to the intrinsic rewards of using manners; making people feel good inside. Parents can use the phrase, ‘what do we say?’ when they feel children have forgotten to acknowledge others.
With light, bright illustrations, What do we say? is suitable to be read to children 3 – 6 and for early readers aged 5 – 7. Books will be available for purchase at a discounted price of $17 (cash only). Monday 23 September 10.30am –11am Brighton Library, 14 Wilson St, Brighton Ages 3+ Free event. Just turn up
