CULTURE EARTH MODERNISM
Interior Design Approach Objectives
ID OBJECTIVES 1. Expanding on the clients’ desire for an earth-integrated home environment, the interiors team selected surface materials, furnishings and accessories that express an “earth-centric” quality. Items share characteristics of being hand-made from natural materials, sustainable, and luxuriously simple. 2. A common materiality used throughout the residence is embellished in the individual suites creating interior spaces that compliment the architectural envelope and grounds. 3. The finish palettes for both residential and commercial spaces highlight the colors, shapes, and textures found in the indiginous landscape, furthering the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.
