PREMIUM T-10 HEX SHANKS ALLOW YOU TO DRILL INTO DIFFICULT WOODS WITHOUT BIT SLIPPING

This forstner set is complete with 16 bits in a fitted storage box. The bits are sized from 1/4” to 2-1/8” by 1/8” increments. Beginning at 1”and up, the outer rim has saw tooth edges for a cleaner and cooler cut. Use of a drill press is recommended once you get to 1” and larger diameters. Ideal for flat bottomed holes such as, mortises for round tenons found in chair construction. Clear chips often, to avoid burning in deep holes. Carbon steel. 3/8” Hex shanks. 3-1/2” overall bit length. Max RPM stamped on each bit. When drilling in to hard woods, speeds should be 25% slower. Box dimensions: 6” x 13” x 2-5/8”. Imported.

Note: workpieces should be clamped securely for optimum results.
