WELCOME to Wisconsin Dear FEW Attendee, Welcome to the 32nd annual International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo, an event produced by Ethanol Producer Magazine and organized by BBI International. We are delighted to return to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a fantastic venue for arguably the largest biofuels gathering in 2016. This year we’ve co-located the National Advanced Biofuels Conference alongside the FEW, recognizing that our attendees, sponsors, speakers and exhibitors would all benefit from having ethanol, biodiesel and advanced biofuels production content all under one roof. Preceding both of those events is our popular Ethanol 101 pre-conference, custom built for those professionals new to the industry. The resulting agenda features 35 different topical panels across six different tracks, the most robust and comprehensive biofuels agenda anywhere. Regardless of your areas of interest or responsibility, we are confident you’ll find plenty of compelling content. We urge you also to maximize the dedicated expo time that we’ve built into this year’s agenda. The industry talent assembled at this year’s event is not limited to the technical breakout sessions and we urge you to visit this year’s expansive expo. You’ll be glad you did.

We continue to be humbled by the incredible biofuels producer turnout at this event. This year, biofuels producers from all categories are here to get up to speed on industry innovation, connect with friends and colleagues and grow their professional knowledge. A special thanks to United Ethanol for hosting a tour group on Thursday. Plant tours have been a mainstay of the FEW since its inception and we’re pleased what with their help, we are once again able to offer a tour as part of a robust FEW experience. On behalf of all of our sponsors and supporting organizations, thank you for attending this year’s event. If there is anything we can do to improve your experience, please do not hesitate to ask. Enjoy the show!

Speaker/Moderator Bios Ironically, the latest breakthrough in the field of energy, is a field. While most innovation begins with the seed of an idea, the greatest advance in the making of ethanol starts with a seed. The first corn seed technology specifically developed to increase the efficiency of ethanol production, Enogen® corn can reduce costs by up to 10% and helps generate more ethanol per bushel than any corn feedstock ever grown. Recently named AgriMarketing’s Product of the Year, Enogen is definitely making waves in the field of energy.

WELCOME

Welcome to the 32nd annual International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Now in its 32nd year, the FEW provides the global ethanol industry with cutting-edge content and unparalleled networking opportunities in a dynamic business-to-business environment. The FEW is the largest, longest running ethanol conference in the world—and the only event powered by Ethanol Producer Magazine. From its inception, the mission of the event has remained constant: The FEW delivers timely presentations with a strong focus on commercialscale ethanol production – from quality control and yield maximization to regulatory compliance and fiscal management. The FEW is also the ethanol industry’s premier forum for unveiling new technologies and research findings. The program extensively covers cellulosic ethanol while remaining committed to optimizing existing grain ethanol operations. Ethanol 101 will serve as a one-day, in-depth survey of the history, science, production and market basics of the ethanol industry. Populated by some of the industry’s most recognized professionals, this seminar will serve not only to bring you or your new employee up to speed on “must know” information about the ethanol industry, but will also provide a forum to meet respected industry representatives and network with them and their fellow seminar attendees.

WELCOME

to Wisconsin

Dear Attendee,

Welcome to the National Advanced Biofuels Conference & Expo, an event produced by Ethanol Producer Magazine, Biodiesel Magazine and Biomass Magazine and organized by BBI International. This year we’ve co-located the National Advanced Biofuels Conference & Expo alongside the International Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo, the industry’s longest running and largest technical conference for the production of starchbased fuel ethanol. The synergies between first and next generation ethanol, biodiesel and advanced biofuel production and producers were too numerous to ignore. We’re excited about breadth of content we’re able to offer all of our attendees as a result. Plant tours have been a mainstay of our conferences and we’re pleased that with their help, we are once again able to offer a tour as part of a robust conference experience. On behalf of all of our sponsors and supporting organizations, thank you for attending this year’s event. If there is anything we can do to improve your experience, please do not hesitate to ask. Enjoy the show!

Tom Bryan President, BBI International Editor in Chief, Ethanol Producer Magazine
