We started b.box in 2007, with an idea, a cardboard prototype and a passion for solving life’s pain points. We wanted to shake up the market by creating products parents trust, that empower kids and deliver something different. It became our mission. 16 years on, b.box has grown to one of the most successful Australian companies in the juvenile products industry. We have distribution in over 60 countries and teams in Australia, the US, Europe and China.

Our product design team has sustainability front of mind. The materials we choose for our products and packaging, minimising the use of single use plastics, the useful life of each product - as well as how they are recycled at the end of their life - are all part of the problem solving that goes into the development of every product.

At b.box for kids, we know firsthand that becoming a parent is an exciting and at times, daunting process. What you need when you leave the house, travelling with kids, starting solids, feeding on-the-go, storage options, all present little challenges for parents and kids. For b.box these represent opportunities. Opportunities to design products that make parents’ lives easier and empower kids to be more independent.

Parents can be confident that careful consideration goes into the design of each product including our impact on the local and international community. We understand the pressures on parents raising kids and that it’s hard for them to consider indirect factors like climate change, the impacts of litter and rubbish across the globe or, entrenched inequality when looking at purchasing products. We never lose sight of that bigger picture, by always striving to do what’s best for the community and the environment.

We hold ourselves to a high standard and strive to document and measure the work we currently do, while constantly looking for further improvement in areas relating to Environment, Social Responsibility and Community, and Corporate Governance. We take guidance from internationally recognised bodies such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as well as various Local and International Government policies. It is not “green wash”. At b.box we are authentic and take our responsibility seriously, so all our ESG policies are supported by science and studies.
