Every decision in this project was taken after checking the appropriate regulations and industry standards and then adapting them to the conditions where the hospital would be located. Given the design, I had to choose the location and produce the construction documents which included drawings, memories, measurements and budgets, the mechanical, electrical and plumbing services and statutory studies for health and safety and for management of waste materials. This complex is developed in two bodies joined altogether by a central communication core without any upper closing which may allow visitors and patients to go outside and get some fresh air. Constructively the buildings are supported with shallow foundation footings and a suspended floor. Also, the outer walls rest over a Constructively, continuous footing which defines the border of the buildings. The structure is made with steel columns and waffle slab and the roof is solved with a steel frame structure with metallic isolated boards and a zinc coberture. Minor beams are attached to the border columns for making the slightly rhomboid shape of the roof. The closings were solved by a ventilated faรงade, and metallic doors and windows. Due to the need for quietness inside the hospital, linoleum flooring was used plus flagstones in bathrooms. The plasterboard walls were painted in different colours and, in bathrooms, tiling was installed due to the humidity inside these rooms. Finally, the horizontal upper closing was cladded with an accesible modular false ceiling, which allowed setting some services like water piping, and electricity wiring between the structure and the modules.

REFURBISHMENT This exercise consisted of developing the whole refurbishment project, including some documents like the contract, the budget & the description of the work to be done. The project itself contained the current state drawings, the demolition ones and, finally, the refurbished state drawings and information. The intention was to change from a shop store to a Quantity Suveyor firm. I detailed the refurbishment of the bathroom, the floor and the stairs, and also applied the Spanish DDA measurements in the project.

Indoors, we tried to model realistic furniture and looked for solutions for decorations like curtains, lamps and carpet among others.
Outdoors, we paid special attention to shadows created by different positions of the sun, the lighting of spaces and their elemets and we also put a special effort in the final aspect of materials like concrete, steel, glass and water.
3D model of the Hemeroscopium House done in pairs with a classmate using AutoCAD in the year 2009. The main objective of this project was to understand the 3D tools of AutoCAD and to build up a model where the shape of the house and the final aspect of materials and elements were the closest to reality as possible. During the month we were given, we had to gather information and drawings about the building and to develop the model and renderings.
7
We opted for making two models; One for outdoors where we played with sunlight, shadows and reflextions to create the sense of volume, and with the matterial appeareance to give colour and life to the renderings; and another more model for indoors where we defined in deep the furniture, decorations and the living environment of the house.
This bridge does not exist. It is just a 3d model done with AutoCAD for experimenting with material creation.
IMAGINARY BRIDGE 3D MODELLING
I made the land & the wooden surface of the bridge with internet images and, in addition, I created the thickness appearance in wood and the concrete columns playing with special options of exposure and overlay. Nevertheless, the most interesting point in this project is the river and specially the water material and its interaction with the rest of the elements.
The waves on the water provide a sense of movement strengthened by the deformation of the grass, the shadows and lights and the reflections of the bridge
