Question Period

Greg inquired about the hill going to the bus route near residence. Peter made a case at BCIT; however they are more interested in moving the bus stop closer to the staircase than paving the hill. Peter will look into this. Angela wants to know why weekly parking is more expensive compared to daily rate. A service fee should not be added on. She is aware that it includes weekend, but still if students are not coming on the weekend, the rate is higher. Peter will look into it. Jaime inquires about the possibility of extended hours at the convenience store. Caroline will look into this. Christine R. inquires if non-students can participate in the poker tournament. The event is opened to all. 95% of the customer base is from the BCIT community; therefore anticipate that most of the participants will be students. Greg recommends that the poker tournament starts around 5:00pm. Lu still would like to know if students could have access to the hot water tab after 3:00pm, and mentions that healthy options are not available in the afternoon. Upkar inquires about who is in charge of vending. Caroline asks for information about specific vending machines so that it can be addressed. Peter K. would like to know the stats on how many cars are broken into as it appears that too many cars are targeted. Christine proposes a campaign on how to inform security if they see a break-in.
