EXHIBITING INFORMATION FOR CLUBS Third-party exhibiting on BCITSA sites The following charges are applicable to all third-parties conducting business in the Great Hall that are promoting or selling their products or services. An 8’ x 8’area will be provided for the exhibitor who is permitted to be set up anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. As a finder’s fee, every club receives 50% of the total once the transaction is complete. Contract Sales Cost: $500 per day + HST Example: Telus, Fido, BMO, Globe & Mail Description: Exhibitors whose purpose is to sign up clients for a contract program, such as cell phones, credit cards, subscriptions, or banking. Large Business Cost: $300 per day + HST Example: CGA, BC Hydro (for recruitment or informational purposes), Spa Utopia Description: Employs a larger number of employees (50 or more), high volume of sales, large amount of assets, dominant in its field of operation, and/or has a significant impact on the market. Small Business Cost: $95 per day + HST Example: “Ma & Pa” businesses Description: Independently owned and operated, has a small number of employees (less than 50), low volume of sales, and small amount of assets and/or has a limited impact on the market. Craft Cost: $60 per day + HST Description: A business where all items are handcrafted by the vendor. Items are determined as craft if the starting materials are significantly altered or enhanced by the vendor and/or the handcrafted components functionally or aesthetically dominate any commercial components. Non-Profit Cost: $40 per day + HST Description: An organization whose primary objective is to support an issue or matter of private interest or public concern for non-commercial purposes, without concern for monetary profit. *MUST be a registered not-for-profit* Charity number must be disclosed on the contract. Without this information, the small business cost will be applied. Additionally, we have affiliated contracts for certain not-for-profit organizations but this is on a case-bycase basis. Please submit your request with full details and the appropriate contract will be designated for your third-party. Third-party contracts are necessary to ensure that third-parties vend correctly while on site and are accountable to the rules and regulations of the BCITSA and BCIT. It is the BCITSA’s goal that all events are a success and proceed in a professional manner, especially when third-parties are involved. This success will also be reflected in the value of the revenue the club will receive by inviting third-parties.
