PETITION FOR IMPEACHMENT OF REPRESENTATIVE IMPEACHMENT PROCESS If a situation arises where a Representative is deemed to be underperforming by the Set or Class, they can be impeached or removed from their position. The Set or Class must take the following steps in sequence: 1. Discuss issues with Representative to rectify the problem 2. Speak with BCITSA Chair regarding the issues 3. Circulate the attached petition amongst the Set or Class members. Sixty percent of the voting members within the Set or Class must be in favour of impeaching the Representative. 4. Following impeachment, a new Representative must be elected via the process detailed in Set and Class Representatives as found on www.bcitsa.ca.
