A final decision will be made on the next Council Meeting. Laura and I will inform you about results. Do Coop Students get the Upass? Yes. However, if students live outside of the Lower Mainland they can opt out.

Set Rep were encouraged to email Brian in case they need a reference letter from the BCITSA. Brian thanked all Set Rep for their role on Campus and contribution to the BCIT community. 7.3 Unfinished Business 24 Hour Access to Required Labs Set Rep were advised to contact Brian in case they need to have a 24 hours access to the special Labs to work on their projects. 7.4 New Business Play off Beard Competition Set Rep were proposed to participate in Play off Beard Competition. Students will need to send the BCITSA their "before" picture (proving they didn't already have a beard) to mktasst@bcitsa.ca or post it to the BCITSA Facebook. Next step will be to send the BCITSA their “after" playoff beard pic within 2 days of Canucks being eliminated. Students will vote on their favourite BPB (BCITSA Playoff Beard) .Winner will get a prize. 7.5 Notices BCIT Open House BCIT Open House is coming on Campus on April 13, 14, 2012. Elections VOTING opens tomorrow. Set Rep were proposed to choose their representatives and have their voice heard - my.bcit. It was declared that School of Health has two candidates. Brian has applied for the position of the Chair of the School of T, C &E this year. Mental Wellness Set Reps were reminded regarding the mental wellness week coming up during the week of April 16-20. The Wellness Week is being designed to create space within the BCIT community to increase awareness about, participate in and engage with issues related to mental health and wellness. A slogan for this event is Speak Up/Speak Out. It will happen in combination with Zen Lounge, which is on Tuesday/Wednesday April 17-18. Other than the Zen Lounge activities, additional workshops on mindfulness meditation, holistic yoga and a traditional Aboriginal Sweat Lodge ceremony will focus on enhancing mind/body/spirit interconnectedness through experiential practice.
