A day in Rome First, when I was in Rome, I sat down on a terrace and had something to drink. I watched the people and looked at the houses to see how wand where they lived. I had found a nice hotel room which was close to all attractions. Whatever I needed, like shops, cafĂŠs or restaurants, all was nearby, and wherever I wanted to go I got there very easily. The first sight I wanted to see was the Coliseum.
The population of Rome is 2,873 and the area is 1,285 km2. I think that in comparison to Berli, Germany, this is large because Berlin has a smaller area, but there are more people who live there. The climate in Rome is different from the climate in my hometown in Germany, it was a bit sticky here. I wanted to learn about the culture of Rome and the Italian lifestyle, and I found that the people here in Rome are very nice and friendly and always helped me if I needed help. I spent a lot of time at he Trevi fountain, it was so beautiful. The sunlight reflected in the water. Very many people sat on the edge of the fountain and relaxed there.
In the evening I had dinner at the Pinsere Restaurant, that is a very nice and well rated restaurant in the centre of Rome. I ate there some nice pizza and drank some Cola, as a dessert I had a delicious ice cream with a sweet choclate sauce. At 23 o´clock I went back to my hotel, looking forward to the next day.
What does 'When in Rome, do as the Romans do' mean? This idiom means that when you are visiting a different place or culture, you should try to follow their customs and practices. This means that you should adapt to the customs of societies when you visit them, or behave in an appropriate manner according to how people around you behave. It is often shortened to "When in Rome". https://www.usingenglish.com/reference/idioms/when+in+rome+do+as+the+romans+do.html

Trip Through Rome - Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak Beautiful waltz taking us all on a trip through Rome. Exciting tones of romance, sifting through the melody, giving pleasant rhythms room to breathe in syncopation. Variations falling upon my ears as I listen and compare my very own compositions through innate talent and positive attitudes in life as I traverse through its myriad trials and sufferings, keeping ahead of every diverse situation and meeting them head on. https://www.poemhunter.com/poems/rome/page-2/37758964/
