Summer Camp: Summer Camp is right around the corner! Take advantage of our Early Bird pricing for our Happy Campers (Ages 3-5) and Adventure Camp (Ages 6-12) now until May 1st! Movies & Bonfire Nights: The Berwyn Park District and the Berwyn Public Library have teamed up again to bring you Movies in the Park! Movies will start promptly at dusk. Check the daily weather to see the time of dusk each day. Dates: Following Fridays: June 14 (Proksa Park), July 29 (Liberty Cultural Center) and Aug 26 (Freedom Park) Free s’mores will be provided, provided by the Berwyn Public Library!

Concerts in the Park: Enjoy the beautiful summer weather at Proksa Park and join us for our monthly free outdoor concerts! Kicking off the season right, we have a Berwyn favorite: High and Lonesome, performing Thursday, June 16th from 7PM to 9PM. Bring a chair, a picnic, and some friends!

The Berwyn Recreation department offers recreational sports year round, including swimming in the summer. Throughout the year they also offer seasonal events for Berwyn Residents, senior citizen programs and community events for the whole family. There is so much FUN to be had at North Berwyn Park District this summer! Start the summer off with a variety of camps for children 3-13 yrs. of age. Whether your child has an interest in Art, Theater, or all around fun, they have a Camp just for them!

New to NBPD this year, their Inaugural Art in the Park on June 11th. This family friendly arts festival will showcase local food vendors, interactive art stations, performances by local groups, and a variety of booths featuring handmade art. Come out and celebrate the arts in Berwyn!

Mark your calendar for the 3rd Annual Corrida del Mariachi 5k run/walk on August 20th. With over 900 participants in 2019, NBPD is getting ready to surpass that number this year. Coupled with the 5k they will also celebrate Fiesta Nuestras Raíces August 20th - the largest festival celebrating diversity in Berwyn. So, whether you are a runner, a walker or just looking to come out and enjoy your community, this is an event you don’t want to miss.
