Double, twin and family rooms incorporating a foldaway sofa bed are available. Family rooms can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children (children are aged 18 and under on the date of stay). All rooms have modern bathrooms equipped with power showers to invigorate you for the day ahead. Hairdryers are provided and if you forget some of your essential toiletries, don’t worry we keep supplies at Reception for your convenience. We also provide a same day laundry and dry cleaning service so there’s no need to pack too much. We can arrange to have your clothes cleaned while you are out at work or play. Directions Location Information The Hotel is located at the Historic Dockyard Chatham by the River Medway, positioned next to Dickens World, Maritime Museum and the Commissioners House and just a few minutes from the A2 and M2 motorways. Ramada Encore Chatham is also near to the neighbouring towns Gillingham and Rochester.
Driving Directions From the North and East (M25): Leave the M25 junction 2, follow A2 southbound signed Canterbury. Exit from the M2 at Junction 1 towards A289/A228/ Rochester/Gillingham. After 3,5 miles, at roundabout, take the 2nd exit. At next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A289 (Anthonys Way). At roundabout take the 1st exit onto A289. After Medway Tunnel keep left onto slip road. At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Maritime Way. At next small roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Dock Road. Our hotel is located on left hand side. When entering Chatham you can also follow the anchor signs towards the Historic Dockyard. From the West and Gatwick Airport (M25): From London Gatwick follow the M23 north signposted London and take the exit for the M25 signposted Dartford Tunnel. Join the M25 towards Dartford, Exit M25 junction 5 and take M26 towards Channel tunnel, Maidstone. M26 merges with the M20. Leave M20 junction 6 signposted Chatham. Arriving in Chatham then follow the brown tourist signs for Chatham Historic Dockyard. (Brown Anchor). These signs will bring you direct to the Hotel.
