The 6-foot-7, 350-pound offensive tackle used his size and quickness to his advantage, proving to be the best protector the state has seen in decades. Truss, once a basketball-first player, was able to make the most of the athleticism and footwork he developed during his time on the court and rounded out as the top football player in all of Rhode Island during his junior campaign. Truss’ impressive size, athleticism, and resume recently led to over 20 Division I college offers including schools like Alabama, Michigan, Auburn ‌ however, Truss decided to sign with Georgia, and will take his talents down south in 2020.
