Celebrities and How They Managed To Get Through To Their Menopause Ordeals Menopause is something inescapable and as a matter of fact, all women go through it, but they deal with it in various ways. There are those who talk about it openly, but more often than not, women keep mum about the subject. For one, it doesn't seem to be a very pleasant topic to discuss, that it looks like it's a taboo in itself to talk about it publicly. Another is, some women don't find it amusing to share their 'horrible' ordeal, or speaking of the symptoms that cause them a lot of trouble. On the other hand, some women find it a relief to be able to share their knowledge and experience to others, to the delight of those who suffer in silence. For those who are still hiding in the dark, they rejoice in finding allies in those who have become outspoken on the issue. You will definitely admire these ladies who have been vocal about their experience and are proud of what they have done to go through with it. What These Celebrities Say About Their Menopause 1. She wasn't embarrassed to say her underwear got wet. She had no qualms either talking about her fluctuating sex drive, hinting that one minute, she couldn't wait to have sex. The next minute, she had to beg for it to stop. 2. Karen Barber – The star of 'Dancing on Ice', aged 53, says hot flushes were also the worst symptom she ever had. Most likely, she might have been convinced of the benefits of using natural remedies for menopause symptoms. 3. Kim Cattrall - To cope with menopause, you have to "tune in" to your bodies and embrace this new chapter, and this is precisely what her awareness campaign is all about. “Tune In to Menopause” aims to encourage women to speak up and learn more about this transitional period in their lives. Now 58 years old, the star of ‘Sex and the City’ says she feels more herself, and loves her body than ever before, after she'd tuned in. 4. Belinda Carlisle – The 56 year old singer says she had up to 40 hot flushes each day when she was just starting to experience menopausal symptoms in her late 40s. Her physician recommended a 10p-sized magnet. What for?

Her doctor believed magnetic forces would help to relieve an overreaction in the nervous system, which influences anxiety and sweating.
