Our March/April 2019 issue of BEATSELECTOR Magazine marks a shift in our publishing frequency. With this edition, the days of publishing our magazine every quarter are now behind us as we move forward to a six (6) issue annual schedule. Challenging? Yes. Relevant? We think so.
To kick off this publishing shift, we decided to stir things up a bit with an Opinion Editorial piece on a subject that we anticipate will open discussion and conversation-- “Overrated and Underrated” DJs and producers in today’s current environment. Zach Miller and Cody Miller identify 12 artists and address-through their opinions-who is overrated and who is underrated and why they feel the way they do. Some will agree while others will not.
Our other features include Q&A with an underground Los Angeles based DJ and producer known as Principleasure in which we discuss his new album, analogue electronics and heroes. We also feature a Q&A with Alex ‘Kiwi’ Warren who has risen from humble beginnings as an in-house photographer...
