YOUNG ARTISTS OF BEAUMONT (7-11 YEARS OLD)

With an eye to promoting self-expression through art, this course uses basic mediums of pencils, crayons, pastels, charcoal and water colour to allow students to develop their creativity. They are taught some of the basics of shapes and form, drawing, colour mixing, and perspective. Separate projects will utilize different means to create individualize masterpieces to further the experience throughout the classes.

BABYSITTER SAFETY COURSE (11-15 YEARS OLD)

Get ready to be the best-prepared babysitter on the block! You will learn techniques for handling emergency situations such as bleeding, choking, treatment for burns, poisoning, wounds and artificial respiration. Participants will receive manuals and a certificate upon successfully completing the course.

PLEASE NOTE: Participants will need to bring a bag lunch, pencil, paper and a doll or teddy bear to practice with.

BEAUMONT BROADWAY (6-13 YEARS OLD)

Our experienced instructor will lead the class through an Introduction to Theatre. Children will have the amazing opportunity to be part of a short play/performance that incorporates all elements of theatre including acting, singing, movement, costumes, props and much, much more! This class will introduce them to the fundamentals of theatre, acting and improvisation in a fun, informal non-pressured environment. This class is the perfect way to let children express themselves, with their talent and creativity shining as bright as the stars of Broadway!

FUSED GLASS LANTERN (5-13 YEARS OLD)

In this workshop, kids will have the opportunity to create a one of a kind masterpiece. There will be a variety of glass, frit and stringers that can be used to create a piece of art for any room in the house. No previous experience necessary, just a willingness to try something new! This class is focused on teaching the basics of improvised theatre to youth. Sportball is non-competitive sport program for children. Children are taught the fundamental skills necessary to excel in hockey with a supervised, noncompetitive approach. They learn about positions, importance of teamwork, good sportsmanship while developing skills.

SPORTBALL - BASKETBALL ACADEMY

Dribbling and shooting a basketball has never been so fun! At the Sportball Basketball Academy your child will learn all of the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, safe atmosphere. Our class is designed to give our “Sportballers” the confidence they need to jump onto a basketball team and hopefully love playing the sport of basketball for life. Classes will consist of skill based games, progressive fundamental drills and skills, and lots of controlled scrimmages to help your child learn the amazing game of basketball.
