The following garage sale signage regulations from the Town of Beaumont’s Land Use Bylaw (796-12, Section 5.3.16, page 83) apply: c) A Garage Sale Sign means a Sign for the purpose of advertising the sale of household goods from a Garage or Yard and shall: i) be placed on the Site and one (1) Sign may be placed on a Public Roadway; ii) not exceed 0.6m2 in area; iii) be erected up to 48 hours in advance of the sale; iv) be removed within 12 hours following the close of the sale; iv) not obstruct the vision of persons using the Abutting Public Roadways; and v) not be attached to a power pole, street light poles, traffic signal poles or trees.
