PHILIP KI J OON OH VOLUNTEER AWARD Purpose On an annual basis, the Philip Ki Joon Oh Foundation recognizes a volunteer(s) or not-for-profit organization, who has made a significant voluntary contribution(s) in the Town of Beaumont.
Nomination Criteria and Procedure Each nomination for the individual/group should meet the following criteria: 1. 2. 3.
Must be a Beaumont resident, group, or organization that benefits Beaumont Made a significant contribution to support & improve the community/quality of life Proven to be consistent and reliable
The nominator is responsible for submitting a complete application with all the relevant details along with letters of support. Consideration may be given to the number of volunteer groups involved in, number of volunteer hours and years of volunteer service.
Volunteer Awards The award itself consists of:
$500.00 cash award to the Individual recipient and a $250.00 cash award to the recipient’s organization/cause of choice in the Community or a $500.00 cash award to a group /organization recipient; Personalized Certificate; An engraved plaque will also be presented but will hang on display in the Town Office.
The recipient will be announced at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Night. Note: While an individual can be nominated more than once, this award can be won only one time. Submitted nomination forms will be retained by FCSS for award consideration for the following year. Nominators may update original submissions with additional information by contacting Margaret Munchrath at (780) 929-1006.

Proven to be responsible, dependable and a good role model 3. Made a commendable contribution of volunteerism and citizenship in the past year(s) The nominator is responsible for submitting a complete application with all the relevant details.
Youth Volunteer Awards The award itself consists of:
$150.00 cash award to the recipient; Personalized Certificate; An engraved plaque will be presented but will hang on display in the Chantal Bérubé Youth Centre
