• The Digital Bridge program provides high school courses utilizing a technology enriched videoconferencing delivery method.

• Students enrolled in Digital Bridge

classrooms will gain hands-on experience with the advanced technologies including a blended instructional environment.

• Each Digital Bridge classroom contains 3 projectors, monitors, audio systems, SMART boards, document camera, and netbooks.

• During the fall semester, across four high schools, 82 students are enrolled in a Digital Bridge course.

• Courses offered are: German 1, Latin II, and Multivariable Calculus

Bridge Control allows a remote user to control the classroom technologies in any of the Digital Bridge classrooms.

• During the 2011-12 school year, Education

Services developed an innovative technology project that would create technology rich classrooms where teachers would demonstrate seamless technology integration into classroom instruction.

• The first phase of the project consists of 30 elementary classrooms in five different buildings. Each building has six classrooms (K-5) involved in the project.

Lessons Learned

• Some of the Math Apps are too easy for our students.

• Netbooks are the preferred tool to use with some of the district’s curriculum.

• Designing PD and support materials took twice as long as expected. Education Services

• Things don’t always go as planned. • There will never be enough time to do
