Directions

From Oxford take A4074 Henley Road out of Oxford and proceed through Shillingford and past Dorchester On Thames and Benson and at the major roundabout signposted Henley/Reading/Wallingford turn right signposted Reading, continuing on the A4074 and as you rise up the hill bear right signposted South Stoke. Proceed past North Stoke and Little Stoke and on entering South Stoke take the right hand turning into Ferry Road and bear right into Ferry Lane and look for the private gated entrance on your left for Ferry Lane Barn.

Local Information

South Stoke lies just a few minutes from the attractive Thames side town of Goring where you will find all major amenities including a mainline connection to London Paddington (under 1hr journey time). There is good access to Oxford (18.5 miles), Reading (12.2 miles), Henley (15.4 miles) and Wallingford (6.1 miles). There are excellent private schools nearby at Pangbourne (Pangbourne College School), Woodcote (The Oratory School) and Moulsford (Cranford House School and Moulsford Preparatory School). There are a number of excellent restaurants close by with the Leatherne Bottle, Goring and The Beetle & Wedge at Moulsford both in riverside locations, The Crooked Billet, Stoke Row renowned for its food and music and there is the ever popular Hotel Du Vin in Henley On Thames.
