DOOR AND DOOR OPERATOR
VEHICLE RESTRAINT
1. Clean debris from in and around dock leveler.
1. Inspect section condition.
1. Driver warning sign.
2. Check for driver warning signs.
2. Inspect and adjust door alignment.
2. Sensor gap, adjust if needed
3. Pit area/curb angles.
3. Lubricate and inspect rollers and bearings.
3. Lubricate bushings.
4. Check the deck/front lip hinges.
4. Adjust and lubricate springs.
4. Check mounting anchors.
5. Check safety legs/deck strut.
5. Inspect spring for secure mounting.
5. Operational placard present and legible.
6. Check wire harness.
6. Inspect and tighten hinges and hardware.
6. Condition of seal/shelter.
7. Check cables.
7. Cables for wear and damage.
7. Actuator pole and storage bracket.
8. Check springs.
8. Drum for wear and damage.
8. Condition of bumpers.
9. Lifting arm pivots.
9. Locks for proper operation.
9. Hydraulic fittings/hoses/cylinder/level.
10. Cable rollers.
10. Weather strip for wear or damage.
11. Installation/structural welds.
11. Track fasteners and hangers.
10. Inspect for damage/worn/broken/missing springs.
12. Safety skirts.
12. Lubricate and adjust chain hoist.
13. Hold down box.
13. Inspect and adjust limit switches.
14. Contactor tips.
14. Inspect and adjust belts.
15. Lift spring tension.
15. Inspect and lubricate roller chain.
16. Shock absorber pivot.

19. Condition of seal/shelter.
19. Test disconnect.
20. Operational placard present and legible.
20. Inspect and tighten all sprockets.
21. Complete operating cycle by checking light for proper sequence, both inside and outside.
21. Lubricate all bearings.
22. Float on trailer. 23. Sensors/switches secure and in good position. 24. Deck cylinder/pivots and pins. 25. Wiring/controls electrical connections. 26. Leaks: Hydraulic connections and hoses. 27. Relief/sequence valve – below level. 28. Lowering speed flow control. 29. Hydraulic oil level/condition. 30. Hydraulic bypass at stops. 31. Home position.
11. Electrical connections/operation. 12. Inspect and adjust all springs. 13. Verify torque mounting. 14. Clean and lubricate chain. 15. Operate restrain by checking lights for proper sequence, both inside and outside if so equipped.
