First things first... its your wedding day so have it your way It’s your wedding day so you should get exactly what you need from all your suppliers to make your day just the way you always imagined it to be. I don’t have specific packages, I work with you to achieve the wedding photographs that you imagine. I believe that you really want to spend your wedding day with your family, friends and of course be together. So the way I photograph is that I document the day, quietly and discreetly. There are short periods of time that I will ask you to come away from the crowd, to take some great photographs of you both together. I shoot all sort of weddings sometimes these are non-traditional... I’m open to any interesting work. I use both digital format as well as film photography, my work is creative, emotional story telling which is not for everyone. If you like my style of work and have a budget we can always work out a plan, so just get in touch, I LOVE hearing about weddings!
The Engagement Shoot Engagement or pre wedding photoshoots are really important, as it is a time that we can meet and work together to create some beautiful photographs. We will spend about an hour together taking the photographs and discussing your wedding plans. If you want to have hair and make up done for your pre wedding photographs then that’s great too. We will plan a location, maybe it’s the venue where you are getting married or your favourite local cafe or the place you like to hang out together. Most people tell me that they are really uncomfortable in front of the camera, I know I am! So by having a pre wedding photoshoot you will begin to relax and even start to enjoy the process of being photographed! Once you are relaxed, we can create some gorgeous candid photographs of you both just being together. You get to see how I really work and see the results of the photoshoot too. This photoshoot is part of the preparation for your Wedding Day, the day when we will create the photographs that you will want to look at in 50 years with all your family and grandchildren.

Frequently Asked Questions What is your style? My style is relaxed, alternative, but always professional. I document the story of your wedding day unfolding, I highlight the bits you perhaps miss and seize the most important aspects of your day. See my blog www. myfabulouslife.co.uk/blog for latest work and to see my overall style. Can you help organise the photos? I enjoy working with people and getting to know your guests, I will enlist the help of the best man or chief bridesmaid, as they will know your guests names and be able to assist with group shots and key members of the bridal party. We will have already made a list of the people you want to be photographed. The rest of the time I will blend into the background with my camera in hand. My wedding is not in Devon, can you cover it? YES! I charge travel costs outside of a 25 mile radius of Exeter, and sometimes overnight accommodation will also be necessary. If you get in touch then I can give you more details. If your wedding is abroad I would love to hear from you. I can cover destination weddings, just contact me for a detailed quote for your wedding. Do you shoot film or digital? Both. There aren’t many group shots on you website do you take them? Yes I do, but I don’t feature them on my site as we have all seen them hundreds of times before. Are you covered with insurance? Yes. I am fully insured with professional photographic insurance, which covers my equipment, public liability and professional indemnity. We love all this, how do we book you? We have a chat via Skype or meet up face to face. We agree what you want and the budget. I send you a contract an you pay a 20% deposit to hold the date. You don’t have to decide on an album style right away, we can add these details on at a later date. Hopefully we plan an engagement shoot or a time to skype, sometimes I meet couples two or three times before there wedding. 6 weeks before your wedding you pay the rest of the invoice and usually at this point we chat about finer details and I help out with any last minute ideas. We will have already discussed a wet weather plan.
