APPLE CIDER SANGRIA

APPLE CIDER SANGRIA

Seasonal favorites such as pomegranate, apples, and pears take this punch from ordinary to extraordinary! 2 each apple 2 each pear 1 each pomegranate seeds ½ cup sparkling water 5 cinnamon sticks

½ teaspoon cinnamon, ground 1 tablespoon honey 2 ½ cups fresh apple cider 1 bottle Pinot Grigio wine ½ - 1 cup vodka

Chop apple, pear, and oranges.

Place in the bottom of a large pitcher or punch bowl with pomegranate seeds. Add in cinnamon sticks, cider, sparkling water, wine, cinnamon, and honey.

Mix in vodka (start with ½ cup), mix well, and taste.

Make 2-24 hours before for flavors to seep – just leave out sparkling water until ready to serve.

CHEF TIPS You can easily update this to zero proof by replacing the vodka and wine with ginger beer or a flavored sparkling water. Play with the flavors, add fresh rosemary, nutmeg, or a split vanilla bean.
