REVIEWS ARE IN!
DoorDash is still trending well. Our metrics continue to be well received with no order errors, consistent 5-star customer ratings, no avoidable cancellations, and reduced wait times. While total orders are down by 18%, our total revenue has increased due to larger average ticket sales.
Sales: Sales for the four-week period totaled ~292K$ with a weekly average of ~$73k. P2 was excellent despite the campus population now below 53%. We produce for more than four offsite events weekly, contributing more than $30k to F&L’s weekly revenue stream. Week 4 was a four-day operating week, and losses were high due to tenant closures for Thanksgiving. This period’s revenue brought Foundry to $20,801 in the black. Labor: Labor has been trending higher than forecasted due to the increased demand for offsite catering events. We are actively recruiting for catering attendants. Existing staff are working additional hours to accommodate the new business opportunities. We expect labor to increase as we continue to expand business in the coming months. We adjusted services at Foundry to mitigate losses with labor and cost of goods. Other Expenses: Other expenses were monitored carefully and have been reduced by 2.3% since P1. Total Profit: Overall losses were ~$0 for the 4-week period! The total profit was $20,801! This period is the second consecutive period where we have been in the black. We have now been in the black for 10 consecutive weeks, which brings us to a total of $66,448 in the black YTD.
