July was a month of celebration and fireworks. We had many onsite and off-site catering events. Foundry & Lux teamed up with CBRE to throw a LUAU tenant event that welcomed tenants back to the Cove

ONSITE CATERING Foundry & Lux hosted over 300 guests onsite over 11 events. We hosted another event for Cytomx as well as Amby's first Foundry & Lux Happy Hour on The Patio. F&L teamed up with Lagunitas Brewing to host a beer tasting for the Frontier Team. New menu additions of the Lettuce Cups with F&L pickled vegetables and pepitas are a new refreshing favorite.

Roblox has continued with weekly Thursday lunch from the F&L team. Favorite menus have been the Mediterranean menu featuring ketfta, turmeric rice, red & white sauce, and falafel as well as the Argentinean menu with BBQ brisket and BBQ cauliflower steak with house charred chimichurri sauce.
Other repeat clients for drop off catering include: Oracle, BioMed Realty, AbbVie, Twist BioSciences, Allogene, & Sutro Biopharma

F&L continues to partner with local businesses as well as promote current programs onsite- like scheduling a pickup through online ordering!
Rotating items are now back! F&L has added rotating monthly menu options to the scheduled posts- letting guests know what's new, what to order next!
Instagram has grown to over 1375 followers! Each post has averaged 25 likes per photo with engagement and click to profile increasing to at least 5 per post. Guests have begun showing staff the Foundry Instagram photos, asking if they can have these amazing dishes. Regular catering clients have also requested specialty appetizers we have advertised on social media like our gravlax tartlets!

We continue to rock or ratings in the DoorDash platform. Our largest demographic on DD contains mainly of repeat guests. We are working on new marketing initiatives through DoorDash to expand our reach in further growing the F&L brand.
Sales: Sales for the period totaled ~$137.7K with a weekly average of $34.4k per 4 week period. P11 was a challenging period due to a severe down-tick with tenant population. We had 11 events either cancel or postpone due to the COVID 19 Delta variant. We were informed that several tenants, including Denali, have asked their team to work from home unless it was essential to be onsite. Labor: Labor in August was monitored carefully. We incorporated new hires and rehires to expand tenant offerings, such as bowling alley, back lounge, expanded PM services, and dining room. Other Expenses: Other expenses and outside services have been reduced to a minimum. Total Losses: Overall losses were ~$57.5K for the 4-week period. We remain flexible and agile as our target continues to move and have been securing business wherever possible. We have been investing our efforts towards drop off caterings and online ordering platforms.
