The School Day

For our boarders, the school day starts at 7.15am; when they wake up, get dressed, tidy their rooms and pack for the day. At 7.50am, there is roll call. At 8.00am, we enjoy breakfast at the main school Dining Hall (where all meals are eaten), which is prepared by the chefs and catering team. Then, the boarders get on with their school day, finishing with their supper in the Dining Hall at 5.20pm.

At 6.00pm, they complete their homework and at 6.30pm there is an evening activity or, twice a week, a ‘Movie and Tuck’ night. The shower rota begins at 7.00pm, and then there is free time for boarders to relax, phone home or get ahead on sorting their washing! All pupils go to bed between 8.30pm and 8.45pm, with lights out by 9.15pm.
