Health Science (T Level)
BC TCK
Duration and Entry Requirements: Duration: 2 years
• 4x GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including English,
Maths and Science • A willingness to undertake work experience
What will I study?
This T Level course comprises of three key elements - core knowledge delivery, work placed training and an employer led project. You will learn as part of your course key scientific concepts, practices, methodology, collection of scientific data, experimental techniques and scientific ethics. The second aspect of the course will be a work placement where you will gain on the job technical skills relevant to your course. As part of the course you will be set a work-based project which will allow you to apply the knowledge and skills you have gained.
What qualifications will I gain?
• NCFE Level 3 T Level –Science

Laboratory Services (T Level)

• 4 GCSEs grades 9-4 including English, maths and Science • A willingness to undertake work experience
What will I study?
• Work Placement (40-50 days) • Scientific technical knowledge • Employer set project • Occupational specialism
Work placement
The work placement will provide an opportunity to learn and apply technical skills gained during the qualification. This placement will be within a company or organisation which is within the science sector or delivering scientific skill based services. Learners will be expected to undertake 315 hours of work place learning across the two year program.
