Meet Professional Services

As we grow as a Group, in this issue we take the opportunity to share a brief introduction to some of our Professional Services departments, how to get in touch and a summary of how they can help you.

College Information Systems (CIS)

Data Protection Officer (Interim Outsourced)

Covering all aspects of data protection, ranging from subject access requests (SARs), breach reporting and supporting asset owners/Heads of Department with advice regarding compliance with regulation. The CIS Director acts as the Group’s Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) and chairs TBCG’s GDPR Action Group.

Information Systems

The team is based at Bedford College and looks after Student Record systems and reporting from these systems, such as:

• ProSolution, ProMonitor, ProPortal and ProMetrix and user access

• ProAchieve, OneGrade and Grofar

• Ad hoc reporting

Registry

There are Registry teams based at Bedford to support Bedford College, Kettering to support Tresham College, MIS at Dunstable support Central Beds College and Data Returns look after the ILR and regulatory government returns. They look after the student data so please contact them about anything relating to:

• Student data including student details, enrolment, transfers and withdrawals

• Timetabling and room bookings

• Registers

• Curriculum Planning

Across the teams, their aim is to provide high quality data that supports the academic areas and complies with government funding rules while optimising the funding income for the Group.
