welcome to Shuttleworth We are a specialist land-based college, which means that we offer courses in agricultural and environmental education, as well as animal science and outdoor education. We make full use of our natural resources, including the commercial farm, woodland, walled garden and lakes, all within the stunning location of Old Warden Park near Biggleswade. Back in 1946 we enrolled our first students and established our place as a national centre for agricultural education. Today both our students and our facilities continue to win national awards. If you have a passion for the great outdoors and want to pursue or enhance your career in the land-based industries, then this is the place for you.

ZOE’S STORY HORSE MANAGEMENT ADVANCED LEVEL
“I wanted to do something that I really enjoyed and I love riding and working with horses – I’ve been doing it since I was eight years old. We had two hours a week of riding and I was given the opportunity to ride the horses after College as I didn’t have access to my own horse like some other people. The facilities at Shuttleworth are brilliant. We have 23 good stables, a big indoor school where we ride, and have access to a horse walker, which not many colleges have.”
