Jessica Gherman
Hi, I’m Jess, I’ve loved singing for as long as I can remember although it’s taken me a very long time to sing in front of people

I love songs that are full of soul and expression which is why musicians from the 50s through to the 90s are my biggest influences
As a little girl I remember trying to sing and play Elvis Presley’s “that’s alright mama” on my little pink acoustic guitar
I love to sing a mix of jazz, rockabilly, ska, punk, and rock music and I will be performing a mix of my favourite tracks from a combination of genres for you to enjoy
I am very excited to be a part of Bedfringe 2023!

Mat has been writing, recording, and playing since October 4th, 1990, when he was just 13 Since then, he has recorded hundreds of songs, and in 1997, he had the mad idea of recording “an album a month”, which he released on cassette and gave to friends and family He has since repeated this in Jan 2011 from Effort Studios
He has released two official CDs In 2001’s he released ‘The sound track to our lives’, and in 2002 he released ‘Counting on a second’

One of Mat’s proudest moments was singing “Kiss” onstage with Prince, at a small launch party for “Rave unto the Joy Fantastic”, in London in 1999
Mat’s main ambition is to make as many records as possible, and to get his music heard by as many people as possible
4 October this year sees Mat celebrate 33 years in the game
