The Danish Camp Celebrates 20 Years

With 275 metres of river frontage, a Norwegian log cabin, a covered and heated terrace surrounded by wooden decked verandas and The Outpost Riverside Bar with a paved terrace and covered, decked area, all overlooking the river with beautiful views of the lakes opposite.

Adjacent is The Moated Site with wildfowl collection and although in private ownership, is an English Heritage Scheduled Ancient Monument and one of the few water-fi lled moats remaining in Britain today.

Experience the river from one of the little green hire boats, take a river trip on The Artful Dodger with Ozzie, the European Eagle Owl on board. For something more energetic, hire a bike and explore the surrounding cycle paths or just take a relaxing walk in the surrounding countryside.

Danish Camp has a year-round a programme of events with live music evenings, fi reworks extravaganzas and Viking Invasions on Bank Holidays. Festive lunches and suppers and New Year’s Eve Parties.

Danish Camp also is a place where families, friends, groups and businesses get together for weddings ceremonies and receptions, anniversaries, birthdays, special celebrations and events.
