Volunteers provide 1:1 support for autistic children and young people at our LOAF (Loads of Autistic Fun) groups in Bedford, Biggleswade, Leighton Buzzard and Luton.
CPRE Bedfordshire Research and Admin Volunteer
As an Awards Volunteer you will provide vital assistance to the project and help us reach more people. Initially this will involve updating contact details of the previous entrants and researching organisations and projects that we can target for the 2023 awards.
Bedford Borough Council School Governor
School governors are skilled, motivated people who are committed to making an improvement in our schools. Every school in Bedford Borough has its own governing board which is made up of staff from the school, parents and members of the public
Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust Diabetes Education Volunteer
Volunteers support patients with Type 2 Diabetes who are invited to our diabetes education sessions, which we currently deliver in English, Urdu and Bengali.
NSPCC School Services Volunteer
As a Speak out. Stay safe. volunteer, you will visit primary schools to deliver Speak out. Stay safe. workshops that teach children about the different types of abuse and how they can speak out and stay safe.
Re-engage Tea Party Host
Tea parties provide a lifeline of friendship for our older people, and the regular, warm, friendly chats and companionship provide a vital link with the outside world from which they have become isolated.
