LydEats Food – The Red Lion Stevington
THE RED LION, STEVINGTON
Nestled in North Bedfordshire is the quaint village of Stevington, and standing proudly at its centre is the beautiful Red Lion pub. The pub was returned to its former glory recently when it underwent extensive renovations and now offers a cosy and incredibly stylish dining room, with boutique hotel rooms to boot.

The restaurant is small but perfectly formed, with an open fi re for cold winter days. The seasonal menus o ers contemporary British dining, and focuses on local produce.
To start, the camembert with maple and thyme went down a treat. The main courses were perfectly cooked, I particularly loved the Gressingham duck breast with fondant potato and a rich port sauce. Desserts are elevated classics, I can never say no to a crumble and it did not disappoint!
If you wanted to make a night of it, the pub has a range of luxurious boutique rooms. The interiors throughout are vibrant and welcoming, with each room having its own unique style. Plus, weekend stays include a top notch cooked breakfast.
Get cosy by the fi re and enjoy some of Bedfordshire’s fi nest pub dining, I’m certain there’ll always be a warm welcome waiting for you at the Red Lion.
