Bedford Town FC
Bedford Town Football Club
October has been a great month to be an Eagles fan with the team flying high with six wins on the bounce, most of the wins with convincing score lines and clean sheets. Having players back from injury and suspension has made a big difference, but now one of those players, Dan Walker has decided to depart the club. After three years in his second spell at the Eyrie the former Luton Town striker has moved up a division to Biggleswade Town.

Rene Howe is the current in form player for Bedford, getting ten goals out of his first ten games as The Eagles have climbed back into the playoff positions hot on the trail of league leaders Berkhamsted who they face in November.
October has been a month for future Eagles. Ninety of The Eagles Youth Development players visited The Eyrie to see the victory over Kidlington and earlier in the month pupils and staff from Marston Vale Middle School were the special guests. During their trip to an Eagles home match, the pupils led the team out before kick-off as a reward for their recent, remarkable sports leadership. Earlier in the month Bedford striker Connor Tomlinson had visited the school to present awards. Community outreach is a new programme, which sees the Eagles joining forces with local organisations, raising awareness for important aspects of the community, and giving back to the borough.
