MTÜ Balti Keskkonnafoorum

NGO Baltic Environmental Forum Estonia (BEF EE) is project based and implements a variety of different size environmental projects ( EU funded and national). BEF EE as an NGO has long years experience as a facilitator of dialogue between different stakeholders, organising trainings and seminars on environmental issues and also having competent experts among staff. BEF EE has strong competence in the field of chemicals management, chemicals control and hazardous substances in the environment and different related topics which are connected to this. Working on these topics BEF EE has addressed different target groups - industries, legislation developers, permitting & enforcement authorities, genereal public and the consumers. BEF EE has set itself objectives to contribute to safeguarding the environment (the Baltic Sea in particular) and raise the awareness of the society about the adverse affects that hazardous chemicals may pose to human health.
