Pandas smile for city’s zoo goers Eight pandas from Sichuan Province will spend the next six months in Beijing as part of an Olympic visit, which was scheduled long before the quake struck. Zoo staff said they would set up a donation box at the panda exhibit to collect money for the Wolong reserve, hometown of all pandas and only 30 kilometers from the epicenter of the powerful quake. The pandas seemed back to normal, and they had taken a liking to the fresh bamboo zoo workers sourced from Henan Province, staff said. Page 3
